When CV's and accompanying personal details are submitted to IDEAS we will store this information electronically in our database. Access to this database is closely restricted to only those IDEAS personnel actively involved in the recruitment and placement process.

In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 you, the data subject, can ask for view all documentation we hold at any time. IDEAS reserve the right to make a small administration charge for each request. All such CV and personal information held on you will be deleted upon written request. .

Purpose

Your CV and other details are held only for the express purpose of finding employment placements for you.

By registering with IDEAS and supplying your CV you are indicating your wish that we submit your CV to clients for the purpose of securing you employment. We will always notify you and check your interest in, and availability for, a position before we submit your CV. There may be rare exception to this when either you or the client has expressed urgency and when we have been unable to contact you. On such occasion, we will send the CV, 'subject to discussion with candidate' and notify you as soon as possible,

IDEAS does not sell or pass any CV or personal information or any results derived from our database searches, to any third party organization. CV’s are passed only to our clients for consideration against specific and suitable employment positions.

We may disclose personal information, if required to do so by law or if we believe that such action is necessary, to protect and defend the rights, property or personal safety of IDEAS, the site or its visitors.

IDEAS is part of an international organisation and therefore we are able to offer positions abroad both inside and outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). When you agree that your CV can be submitted for such positions, be aware that some countries may not have similar data protection laws to the EEA.
